"What Doesn't Kill You Makes You Colder~" The Domina strode upon long willowy limbs, slinking through the crystal caverns with a feline-like grace and only the click of her talons on the limestone ground echoing in her wake. All along the halls, wall sconces were lit with flame to cast a soft light for which to see by, and the crystals glittered and danced under the torches in a most mesmerizing way. Wicked often felt as though she were in an eternal dream here in Desidimor Nia. It was so vastly different from the Earth World where she had grown up. Here things were both more primitive and yet more elegant all at the same time. The bones and skulls which decorated every archway and room might have seemed macabre to any other race, and yet each carving was created with such intricate finesse and detail that anyone would be drawn in by it's alluring artistry.
As the slender female padded into the Grand Hall, once such piece was posted like a gargoyle just outside the entrance, it's head looking like delicate lace for how beautifully carved it was, and the bones of it's body were etched in black ink symbols and hieroglyphs, warding off evils and blessing the Clan with prayers to Vishess and the Brother Gods. It was one of Wicked's favorites, and she suspected her favorite Scribe Wulfenite played a part in it's creation. Though the Domina had never thought to actually ask her friend outright.
Speaking of Wulfenite, the Domina was hoping to find her here. She had intentions of visiting the Scribe's brother in Silver Summits, D'Manaco being a face that Wicked was rather fond of even if she did not outwardly show it. And it would be wise to have a trusted councilor of sorts along for the journey.

It could be seen for all but a moment, and even then only to the most trained of eyes. A shimmer in the darkest corner of the room, a light so meagre that its existence was challenged by the encroaching darkness with every passing moment. That little light, however, soon began to spread and blossom, an interconnected web of lights popping into existence like atoms to the universe. It was apparent that these lights from the darkness were not some anomaly, nor were they a trick of the eye. No. They were a being, with skin a vibrant stellar chart painted across a canvas as dark as the void from whence they came. Their exit from the shadows, as menacing as it may have seemed to anyone with an irrational fear of the dark or the monsters that lurked within, was done with eloquence and grace, seeming to almost float as their paws were lost in the murky depths of the shadow they had inhabited. It was not until the long chains adorned with flawless cut gems, the nigh glowing marks cresting the bridge of his nose, and those gleaming heterochromatic eyes that were underlined with two brilliant white streaks across his orbitals all came into view that his identity made itself clear. His muzzle cracked in two, and his gleaming white teeth that were akin to rows of hypodermic needles bore themselves in what could be described as a grin. from his maw. draped in a rich, smooth tone of voice, the Vire uttered his first words to the ultraviolet member of his kin before him, the distance between the two closing rapidly thanks in large part to the male's immense stature. "Sister, It is a pleasure to see you~."

"What Doesn't Kill You Makes You Colder~" A disappointed sigh escaped the fae, as her gaze swept the expanse of the Great hall to find it relatively empty. Many of the Clan were already out and about tending to their duties or enjoying their spare time. Wulfenite had not been in her chambers either, and so the Domina had to assume she was out in the Limberlost or some other which-where collecting more bones and skins for her scribing. It looked as though she would be making her journey alone toda-
The Rexine's ears tipped back as she felt a weighty shift to the shadows behind her, her shadow element detecting even the most minescule of changes. She tensed as it was her first instinct tp do, as her head swiveled around just as a form began to take shape. The chime of chains and the familiar bi-colored eyes however, put her at ease and a smile spread across her lips. The celestial inkiness of her half-brother's coat was unmistakable to her, as Orpheus was one of the rare few souls that Wicked shared a special kinship with. He was like her- a Taboo. And in their mixed blood heritage she found a manner of comfort she could not afford amid other Vires of Desidimor Nia.
"Orpheus, good morn." She replied to his greeting, stepping forward to brush noses with him. "I am glad to see you up and about, I was looking for Wulfenite but it seems she is out for the day..." She explained, gesturing about the empty cavern. She looked her sibling up and down. "However, perhaps you would do just as well in assisting me today. You Are a paladin, afterall!" the female exclaimed as she circled around him towards the corridor that led to the main exit.
"I am going to make the journey to Silver Summits today. I wish to see D'Manaco in person and would like an Escort along the way. What say you, brother? Care to join me for a jaunt north?" She asked, speaking in regards to the infamous former Paladin Captain, who was the father of Orpheus' two nieces.

Watching as a toothy smile overtook the maw of his kin, Orpheus gave a low chuckle while stepping forward to meet the Rexine in the middle, giving a courteous rub of his nose back before setting himself onto his haunches and giving a playful hum. his chains tinked together as he brought up one of his astral cartographic paws to cup his chin.
"Would I like to accompany my dear sister on a trip that could very well be perilous, fraught or otherwise undesirable, all for a chance to speak to an old friend and to see the lovable moppets you have reared? Why, is there any better way to spend one's morning~?" He concluded, observing the scene as his sister encircled him for just a moment before taking stride toward the exit of the clan's intricate and ornate great hall. He had to admit, in all of his years and all that his aged eyes had seen, and all the years passed his age that his mind had come to understand, the grandiose hall crafted at the hands of some of the greatest scribes ever to have lived was far and away one of the few favourite places held dear by the void clad quadruped.
"I suppose it is long overdue that I tend to my duties, although I can't exactly say the path north is too dangerous a trek. it feels more like you are asking me along as a friend and relative than as a paladin sworn to your protection, Domina~" Teased the younger sibling to his elder sister. despite their rankings being of vastly different calibres, it would seem as though the Sky coated guardian still held a cheeky fondness for his kin that surpassed even the bounds and limitations of the typical hierarchical structure of the clans of Desidimor Nia.
Standing to his full height once again, gazing down to his diminutive by comparison sororal blood relative as he found himself doing to most other creatures of this land due to his intimidating stature, a smile continued to grace his lips as he lowered himself slightly before brushing past the Rexine, rubbing his coat to hers in a brotherly affection before running his majestic tail along the side of her muzzle and giving it a light, teasing and playful flick while casting a glance across his back toward the bioluminescent matriarch of the species.
"Worry not, fair madame. I, Sir Orpheus of the Bone Collectors, Loyal guardian of the Domina, and seer of all the goings-on both past, present and future in the lands of Nia shall accompany you for your quaint jaunt northward and shall protect you from the fiendish scoundrels of the plans and all their cruel machinations~"
